With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.” (Mark 10:27)

I remembered Mrs. Suzanne, not her real name, recently. She was a beautiful, polite, well-connected, and rich businesswoman. She had all things going very well for her, but she had no child. She was under immense pressure from her husband and family to give birth to children or get thrown out of her matrimonial home. Such is common in our culture!

One day, she went to her gynecologist, a first-class professor, for an appointment. He later told her she would not give birth to children because of her complex gynecological history. Thus, confirming what many gynecologists in Nigeria and abroad told her in the past. There was no IVF treatment at that time. So, that was the end of the road for her, as far as childbearing was concerned.

As she was sobbing in a quiet corner of the hospital, another professor, not a gynecologist, came to her and asked why she was crying, and she narrated her ordeal to him. In the end, the professor, who is also a born-again Christian, told her God could give her a child in Jesus’ name.

She believed, and they prayed together that it would be so. She gave her life to Christ that day! A few months later, she became pregnant, without medical help, and gave birth to a baby boy nine months after. I understand she had other children in the latter years. In short, God resolved her childlessness problem through Jesus Christ (John 14:6).

God can do the same for you today if you wish (Luke 1:37). But it would help if you make Jesus Christ your personal Lord and Saviour, first. That is, you must be born again if you aren’t yet. Please, invite Him into your life today; He will not snub you (John 6:37).

Confess with your mouth, the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. Once you have taken this simple but vital step, then you are born again (Romans 10:10), and God will be glad to sort you out through Jesus Christ (Matthew 11:28).

He will solve your childlessness problem and give you children (Psalms 127:3). And if you are single, He will provide you with a good person that will love and marry you, as well as add value to your life (Psalm 84:11). God will fight for you and save your children (Isaiah 49:25), and they will serve the Lord with you (Joshua 24:15).

Maybe your business or ministry is not doing well lately. Don’t worry; God will boost it (Deuteronomy 30:9), and it will increase rapidly, vastly, and beyond your wildest imagination (Ephesians 3:20).

Please, get set for a special touch from God in your life. It will surely come, so, wait for it (Habakkuk 2:3). And when it comes, it will thrust you forward and upwards quickly, and your joy will be full, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come” (John 16:13).

A top institution in Nigeria once owed me a lot of money, and arrogantly refused to pay me for close to two years. I contacted the head of the institution and others to come to my aid and address the injustice meted out on me, on several occasions, all to no avail. In the end, I prayed to God to intervene on my behalf.

Then, during our prayer meeting early one morning, the Holy Spirit spoke through the Late Deacon Ayo Ademilua, our father in the Lord, a purpose-driven Soldier of Christ, a courageous individual, an epitome of humility, and an unapologetic lover of people. He, the Holy Spirit, said God had approved a fat cheque for me in the Spirit realm in answer to my prayers. He also said I would have it without delay, and I was dead excited about the good news!

I later got a phone call from the said institution that same day advising me to re-present my claim for speedy settlement. I complied with the caller’s advice immediately, and to my amazement, I got a fat cheque from the institution covering the amount they owed me, within a few days.

The Holy Spirit spoke on my matter, and a resolution came about promptly. He will speak on yours too, and a permanent solution that will surprise you, and which no one can tamper with will come your way sooner or later, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Today, please, talk to God about the matters affecting you and making your life tough. Talk to Him about your uncooperative spouse, your shaky family set up, unruly child, collapsing business, state of joblessness, ill-health, your wicked boss, your delayed promotion, and your co-worker whose delight is upsetting you, etc.

At the right time, the Holy Spirit will speak on your matter. And when He does, He will help you, and intercede on your behalf (Romans 8:26), teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all things (John 14:26), and tell you things to come (John 16:13).

He will also make you abound in hope (Romans 15:13), give you the spirit of power, love, and a sound mind, instead of fear (2 Timothy 1:7), and empower you to witness to people all over (Acts 1:8), and nothing would stop you, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?” (Jeremiah 32:27)

The above is a famous Bible passage in which God reiterates His unwavering capacity to do all things with ease, and this is made possible because of the exclusive power that He wields (Psalm 62:11).

Now, if you look at the world carefully, you’ll discover that several people are/were formidable in their respective fields, and they wield immense power as a result. One of them was Nelson Mandela! He was impressive in the area of Human Rights, Human Dignity, and Natural Justice.

Others include Isaac Newton (Physics), Michael Faraday (Chemistry), Archimedes (Mathematics), Adam Smith (Economics), William Shakespeare (Literature), Roland Ross (Medicine), Winston Churchill (Government), and Mohammed Ali (Sports).

No doubt, those mentioned above were great folks, but as brilliant as they were, none of them could boast of being excellent in any field other than theirs. That, in effect, proves that they were like other people, regular and limited.

But the story is different with God because He is very brilliant in all fields put together. He is very outstanding in Medicine (Exodus 15:26). He is equally brilliant in Law; remember that He crafted the Ten Commandments (Deuteronomy 5:6-22), which form the basis of all the laws in operation in the world today.

God is equally brilliant in Engineering, as evidenced by His great work of creating our complex world (Genesis 1, Genesis 2:1-5). In the field of Agriculture, He owns all the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10). In the Military, He is mighty in battle (Psalm 24:8); He is also a consuming fire (Hebrews 12:29).

As I mentioned earlier, God wields enormous power as a result of His brilliance, and that’s why He can do whatever catches His fancy, wherever, and whenever He wishes (Psalm 115:3). And trust me, nobody can block Him successfully (Job 42:2). We can safely conclude, therefore, that He is Limitless, unlike us.

This God is still as powerful as He had always been (Malachi 3:6), and He wants to demonstrate His immense power in your life (Isaiah 41:10). He wants to bless you (Deuteronomy 28:8), keep you free of diseases (Exodus 15:26), and fight your battles for you (Isaiah 49: 25-26). Besides, God wants to give you a break from your problems (Matthew 11:28) and provide you a befitting place in Heaven when your race on earth has ended (John 14:2-3).

Friend, are you ready for Him today? If you are, then get set to satisfy the following conditions, among others. First, you must be born again, i.e., you must permit Jesus Christ to be your personal Lord and Savior. Except you do this, you stand no chance of being blessed by Him (Mark 7:27), neither would you be able to attain Heaven at the end of the day (John 3:3).

Next, you have to walk according to the Law of the Lord so that your ways can be blameless (Psalm 119:1 (NIV)). Moreover, you have to exhibit absolute faith in Him time after time (Hebrews 11:6). You may have to fast and pray more, too!

If you satisfy all these conditions and others prescribed in the Bible, then the Limitless God, our God, will bless you beyond your imagination (1 Corinthians 2:9), and your joy will be full in Jesus’ name. Amen.

I am doing this write up as a follow up to the one I did last week titled ‘The Reasons For Trusting God’, which you can access on my website by clicking the following link;

Proverbs 3:5-6 says: ”Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths”.

Above is a very popular passage, and it highlights the fact that trusting God is beneficial.  Please permit me to mention a few of the benefits of trusting God here, hoping that you’ll be motivated to trust Him more. They are:

1.  Divine Confidence.  The Psalmist’s life was laden with fear on numerous occasions, but on each occasion, he trusted God, and then gained divine confidence to overcome his fear.  He referred to one of such occasions in this fashion: ”…In God I have put my trust; I will not fear.  What can flesh do to me?’’ (Psalm 56:3).

David and Goliath (1 Samuel 17:1-58) were two differing people.  While David was an ordinary shepherd of average built, Goliath was a visibly huge warrior of Philistine extraction.  David was humble, but Goliath was very mouthy and loud.  At a time, Jesse, his father, sent him to the war front to deliver supplies to his brother.  It was there that he saw how rude Goliath was to God, and he offered to fight him.  He trusted God to give him victory over Goliath and his army, and he was not disappointed.  God is still in the business of replacing peoples’ fears with divine confidence to date.  He will do it for you too, if you allow Him!

2.  Divine Direction.  The renowned King Solomon mentioned this benefit as follows: ”Trust the Lord with all your heart….And He shall direct your paths’’ (Proverbs 3:5-6).

In Acts 9:1-19, it is recorded that Saul (later Paul) haunted and arrested the disciples of the Lord in the synagogues of Damascus, and brought them bound to Jerusalem to be persecuted.  But one day, God arrested Him in a spectacular way, and asked him to proceed to a man called Ananias, who later laid hands on him.  Consequently, he regained his sight and was filled with the Holy Spirit.  Saul trusted God, and he was given divine direction, which ushered him into his remarkable ministry on earth.  You too can do remarkably well on earth if you wish; but you must be prepared to trust God first, and He will give you divine direction to your success in Jesus name.  Amen.

3.  Divine Strength.  God is willing to give you enduring strength continuously, provided you put your trust in Him.  Prophet Isaiah gave credence to this notion when he said: ”Trust in the LORD forever, For in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength” (Isaiah 26:4).

Judges 16:1-31, gives an account of how Samson, a judge over Israel, and a pain in the necks of the Philistines, fell for Delilah.  His close relationship with this woman, led to his downfall and ultimate death.  But before he died, he repented of his sin, turned his heart to God, and He forgave him.  Not only that, he trusted God to avenge the humiliations the Philistines meted out on him.  God later gave him a mind-blowing strength, which he used to push the pillars of the temple where numerous people gathered together to be amused by him.  Consequently, the pillars collapsed, and everybody in it, including Samson, was killed.  If you are truly sincere about staying afloat, and doing well on earth, then you need trust God for divine strength, and He will unleash it on you beyond your imagination in Jesus name.  Amen.

4.  Divine Victory.  In confirming the availability of this benefit arising from trusting God, the Psalmist said: ”Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass” (Psalm 37:5).

Jephthah (Judges 11) was a mighty man of valor who grew up with his half-brothers in Gilead.  At a time in his life, he was due for his inheritance from their father, but his brother denied him of it; just because his mother was a harlot.  He later fled for his dear life and lived in a location called Tob, where he met some worthless blokes and raided with them.  After some time, his people were attacked by the Amorites and their existence became threatened.  Then, the elders of his clan went looking for him, because they knew he was the only person who could save them.  Of course, he obliged them but not until after he had extracted a promise that they would make him their overall head from them.  Jephthah was so sure of victory that he made a vow to God in return, and He was not disappointed.  Perhaps you desire outstanding victory in certain areas of your life, e.g. your work/walk with God, health, finance, business, education, relationship, family set up, etc., please trust God for it, and it will come to pass in Jesus name.  Amen.

Friends, as you can see, the benefits of trusting God are stunning and I believe you’ll be happy to enjoy them too.  If so, please pray to God to give them to you straight away. In addition, make sure you do not stop trusting Him even if you have to repeat your prayer time and again because He will surely reward you at some point (Hebrews 11:6). May the good Lord fill your heart with joy and your mouth with praise as you trust Him continually in Jesus name. Amen.

Jesus is Lord!
